Go Girl 03:41
Stammer in all your letters first before you go and lick a stamp and send away to me Tell me all your insecurities, as if I'm here, and my mind set's you free, as if it does Check your bank, for subtleties, you don't own these things make believe you live a long term lease, as if you do, Make a larger map from your hotel to where I sleep, I never sleep around, at least that's what I say I do to you and you and You've been finding out that I'm not just like you had thought And who am I to say you Go Girl and who am I to believe theres nothing wrong I am a snake I am a serpent with good intentions but it's all the same to be/me, a man like me. Tuck Away your camouflage you've never hunted anyway and anyway you're green enough to me Fields are burning constantly and everywhere I look I'm seeing red and I'm ready not to be Tuck away all your lies, white and otherwise, black em out, cross em out, the grey Gradient between Pulling weeds til the sun goes down how long will /should I stay, will all thats golden turn to gray or you've been finding out that I'm not just like you had thought And who Am I to say you go girl who am I to believe theres nothing wrong I am a snake I am a serpent with good intentions but it's all the same to be/ me a man like me

Made a list to read to you crumpled up and seen right through your legs, a laugh, a mole, or molars too, I know you , you knew That's the point we get the blues some aren't born at all some born to lose We find we lie through teeth and call a truce and that's how we can choose So can I call you twice today like a bill collector you refuse to pay and if it rings a while it makes us say that I've been Bad to you And if I break, may I make different mistakes than you, not without you yah you baby, ooh baby , you baby ooh baby you ooh baby you baby ooh baby you baby you you baby you baby ooh baby ooh baby you Made a list of the things that take all my attention to the ones that you gave along the lines of older songs that I crave and just, to ignore you and there it sat such a simple truth those blinding bats in caves of blues a girl with wronger longer ways/legs than moves sat there inside of you So when I called you twice today that familiar click that you played away (and weigh) my numbers there I can always wait and I'll be there for you and if I break, may I make different mistakes than you not without you ooh baby, ooh baby , you baby ooh baby you ooh baby you baby ooh baby you baby you you baby you baby ooh baby ooh baby you ooh baby you baby oh baby (oh) baby you.

Oh I gotta follow you know I gotta followin case I like to live a listen like to live a lesson in taste why you think we'd move there and why you think we'd make it in LA (hey). no matter you're a hammer break it with me gonna shatter anyway and no it isn't trouble we can crumble from our bones like it's our fate like a dog who never comes home even though he still can smell it if he stayed yah you see it clearly with a dreamy couple reasons in this place (hey) no matter you're a hammer break it with me gonna shatter anyway anyway anyway- and all that I find I find about you and all that I write I'm right about you too and I'm damn near sure it's all I can do so a tribute to a lover that I am too into- I'm too helpless to, make that move that move that move So spackle up a ceiling with blue and yellow paint upon the walls we used to keep our wits by scribbling words of wisdom in the stalls and where we gonna end up and where we gonna shake it when we fall away it's no matter you're a hammer break it with me doesn't matter anyway anyway anyway- and all that I find I find about you and all that I write I'm right about you too and I'm damn near sure it's all I can do so a tribute to a lover that I am too into- I'm too helpless to, make that move that move that move

We send our letters let us sign away for better things petition these we hope to say the things they'll never read its strange the pacifists, that claim to all be activists , they're packing up their picket signs to picnic in the park And politicians well they power through their palaces the fallacy of phalluses we dont bite we only bark- it is a helplessness it is a hell of worthlessness that 80 men can't work with us just leave us in the dark It's Like Running, Through Honey. (Jon) We'll cut our nose to spite our face, we're running in human race, the crazy ones have set the pace and we're coming second last We haven't heard the starting gun, the signal that we need to run. As shots are being fired, we're so blissfully surpassed The weakest of the weak will all be dead within a week and while their bodies all get buried someone smiles from ear to ear. So all aboard the gravy train, it'll show you to your grave again and then gradually you'll grow into the clothes you want to wear It's Like Running, Through Honey. (Jon) like climbing up a mountain while your shoes are made of lead or trying to tread water while your stillfully dressed or walking round in circles when theres somewhere you should be the man who breaks the circle with a different path that set's you free (I dont tend to use these inhibitions anymore I crumble down, i write it off, i fall apart how to wake myself to stepping out there anymore I am a cloud, what a swamp , I'm a marsh) I've seen the sun retreat behind the sea a thousand times and as we burn away our eyes we gaze into the west. The blind leading the blind might mean the blind will fall behind but in the night the blind will prosper and then swell beyond the rest We'll hold the corners of our flags and fold them into younger hands and maybe then they'll understand the fight we fight. And when the sun will rise at least, our eyes adjust, the more we'll see We'll take back all the ground wre lost, head east into the night- It's Like Running, Through Honey.

Minnesota 04:52
He had a stone as a demeanor and he was meaner till he met her A sandpapered face that would make your skin twist and crawl Put it all back together and you try to act a human Hard to say that he ever cared at all He thought of lona walkin, in a storm just like a tundra He saw her kickin snow from her boots standin black and tall I guess he only loved her when nothing could be colder I guess that he never cared at all Behold the fear We hold a freedom He loved a mirror He told her to leave him She was a spitfire image of her mother when shes crying. Theres a funny think about the way a face that finally falls Like a slapstick man in a charcoal grey confusion I wonder if he saw it i wonder if he ever cared at all Pull a body from the rubble from a hot typhoon below us A salty wind that'll make the ocean turn a churning squall Like a shot to the gut first a hit and then its over And cause we never felt it anyway we never cared at all Cause one lost love is a knot inside Another One lost one is a knot inside it all And im a lost one thinking of how i could nit be uncovered and though i wondered But i never did it anyway i guess i never really cared at all
