about

I think the prompt was political, or overcoming a boundary, (which for me was politics in music) and here I am with all the facets of History repeating itself, in music, relationships, family, money- The long list of white musicians arguing over the rights to the song "house of the rising sun" ignoring the fact that it was first recorded by Alan Lomax performed on a porch by a black woman in the south. Alas.
